Jurassic Park 4- Director Colin Trevorrow uncovers the myth

Working with Derek Connolly and producer Steven Spielberg, director Colin Trevorrow has told Schmoes Knows that the new Jurassic Park 4 film is not set to completely deviate away from its predecessors. 'We don’t want to create a new scoop here, but we really want to honour what came before us,' Trevorrow has said.

The director enforces how aware he is of the Jurassic Park cult following- 'it's not about us, it's not about our careers, it's how do we make something that can stand with the first one'. Both The Lost World and Jurassic Park III failed to reach acclaim to rival the first Jurassic Park film, but Trevorrow certainly seems to be aiming to correspond with what he believes fans want.

Jurassic Park IV is set to reach cinemas in 2015 and is rumoured to feature underwater dinosaurs on Isla Nublar.

Watch Jurassic Park I, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III.
